M. Michelle Davis

As a Senior Manager over Projects and Operations for YP.com, Michelle Davis is a strategic, solutions-oriented management professional with over eighteen years of experience leveraging technology to deploy transformative solutions and deliver critical projects on-time, within scope and budget. An entrepreneur at heart, Michelle is the founder of PMCI (Project Management Consultants International), a project management agency in Union, NJ (www.pmciservices.com).
Michelle has worked for several large corporate firms such as AT&T, Ernst & Young, American Express, IBM, McGraw-Hill, Express Scripts and Cendant Corporation. Her career encompasses a number of functions including Human Resources (recruitment, benefits, training and compliance), Marketing, Accounting, Management, Finance and Sales. Michelle has been responsible for the implementation of local business services, legal websites, technology for government agencies, as well as business processes and procedures. The execution of international inpatriate/expatriate services, real estate construction and software migration, as well as a host of technology applications and tools are all responsibilities that are incorporated into her background and experience.
Michelle has a B.S. in Business Management and an M.B.A. in Global Business from Kean University, Union, NJ. As part of her master’s degree curriculum in global studies, Michelle had the opportunity to study Crisis Management at the Pau Business School for International Studies, Pau, France. She has a Project Management Certification from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ and is currently a Doctoral Candidate, specializing in Strategic Leadership at Capella University, Minneapolis, MN.
God is at the core of everything that Michelle does for it is only what we do for His son, Christ Jesus, that will last. A member of the Holy Temple Church for twenty-eight years, St. Paul Sounds of Praise for six years and current member of The Metropolitan Baptist Church going on nine years, Michelle is rooted and grounded in the Word of God; the lamp that lights her path. Michelle believes in giving God an “Abel” sacrifice as He deserves our very best. Singing since the age of five, Michelle has a calling to sing, as well as the gift to help others and that of leadership.
Michelle emphatically believes that “We are blessed to be a blessing!” She has been a literacy instructor for over twenty-five years with Literacy Volunteers of America. She has used her gifts and talents by volunteering to serve as the Director for MetroWorks (the Employment Ministry at the Metropolitan Baptist Church) since 2008. Michelle is also an instructor for the New Discipleship Ministry at Metropolitan. She sings for various neighborhood events and programs. She is an active member of her community, regularly attending meetings and events.
Michelle enjoys reading, dining out, traveling, watching a good action-packed movie and spending time with friends and family. Michelle has 3 godchildren that she adores and she loves to be in the company of her mother, father, 5 siblings and 13 nieces and nephews.
